Bridging Generations

Bridging Generations is a community service and mentorship program that empowers at-risk youth by training and engaging them in meaningful work assisting low-income and elderly residents with basic landscaping, yard maintenance, and minor home repairs. The program teaches valuable job skills, fosters responsibility and empathy, and strengthens intergenerational bonds. Youth participants receive hands-on training, mentorship, and small stipends or school credit, while seniors benefit from safe, well-maintained homes and social connection. This initiative not only reduces blight and isolation in underserved neighborhoods but also creates purpose and opportunity for young people.
